Is float therapy safe?

Yes, float therapy is generally considered safe. At Breathe, we prioritise the wellbeing of our clients and ensure that our float tanks are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. With only 11 inches of water in the tanks, there is no risk of drowning or discomfort. However, individuals with certain medical conditions or concerns should consult with their healthcare provider before undergoing float therapy.

What are the benefits of float therapy?

Float therapy has many benefits, including pain relief, stress management, improved sleep quality, sharpened focus, and elevated wellbeing. After one hour of floating at Breathe, you will feel like you’ve had between 4-8 hours of sleep. Whether you suffer from stress and anxiety or need to unwind after a long week, float therapy will help you relax, unwind and rejuvenate your body and soul.

How many floating sessions do I need?

You can have as many floating sessions at Breathe as you like because it is a perfectly safe, natural and harmless process like swimming in the sea. However, we recommend a minimum of three sessions if you want to experience therapeutic effects. For chronic injuries, it is ideal to book a session once every three days. Consistent weekly appointments can help you deal with mental health issues.

What should I wear in the float tanks at Breathe?

Nothing! We recommend clients enjoy the treatment naked, if possible. A swimsuit can often limit the experience of being fully deprived of sensory distractions. At Breathe, we have private tank rooms, where you will be left in peace and complete privacy throughout the session.
